Adam Cohen Hillel | About
- Started coding when I was 8.
- Then around 12 I started walking around my home town to try and convince small businesses I should build them websites.
- But no one took me seriously, so I decided to build my own stuff.
- That led to me start one of Israel's first and biggest mobile games companies targeting the Israeli market.
- Gruchka Games (iOS) - reaching 1.5M downloads and 150k MAU at its peak.
- I then joined the IDF and served in one of the elite cybersecurity units as a system and security engineer.
- I basically set up entire server rooms from scratch and wrote proper code (check out a funny story of my early coding days here).
- After my service, I moved to London, UK, and joined Cado Security.
- Was the first founding member.
- I grew with the company from seed to series B.
- The company later got acquired by Darktrace for $100M+.
- I founded Deepen, an AI companion some time before chatgpt came out.
- We got around ~20k downloads in ~4 months, but I had a co-founder breakup and closed the company.
- Moved to San Francisco, I built a bunch of AI x Hardware products at Founders, Inc..
- Including The Ark and Adeus, the first open source AI Wearable (announcement).
- Which then became Based Hardware Omi / Friend Company, to which I'm an founding member.
- Now I'm building Secondly - experimenting with new interfaces beyond the chat.
In between all of the above, I built many other things, some of which are listed on [Past Projects].
